Lessons Learned
Donna shared her 3 Ps on crafting quality prompts:
- Provide some perspective – describe the situation – tell chat GPT a little about what you are doing and why
- Make the purpose clear – describe the specific goal of the conversation – it might be the ask for information, get a recommendation, provide a criticism etc
- Give it some personality – set the tone and style of the conversation. It could include the use of humour, empathy or other emotional elements – you could, for example, tell chat GPT to respond in a chatty tone or a formal style
